Red Casino was recently re-launched by Intertops Online casino using Real Time Gaming software instead of Microgaming which it has had several problems with.

Due to the laws regarding online casinos, in the US, it has become difficult for gaming software. Microgaming is just one of many to leave the US market, however, Intertops didn’t want to succumb to the pressure. Real Time Gaming is now one of the only online casino software companies still operating in the United States.

The Microgaming decision made the executives of the online casino unhappy with their decision that stemmed from the Kentucky domain name seizure case that presented a legal challenge to the online casinos through the government. Previously, they announced they had plans for two casinos, the Green and the Red casinos. The Green casino would be powered by Microgaming and would allow non US players to still get their favourite games. The Red Casino, being powered by RTG would be open to US players.

Microgaming didn’t agree with this as they wanted both casinos powered by themselves, so to ensure this didn’t happen Microgaming withdrew their service from Intertops online casino. They have therefore prevented Intertops from operating under two systems. Microgaming is planning on re-entering the market as soon as the federal regulators change the laws. There have been bills introduced this year to help the online casino market open up again.

Although Intertops has lost some of the player’s favourite games, they now have over 350 new games to choose from at Red Casino using the RTG software.
