Table
This is the game where the players are at.
Table cop
Often a player who reminds the others to remain true to the game.
Table stakes
Games where a player cannot bet more than they have on the table.
Tap
Within a no limit game, when you tap your opponent, then your bet is equal to theirs.
Tap out
Betting all of one´s chips.
Tapped out
A player who is busted or broke.
Tapping the aquarium
A player telling another player what they are doing wrong.
Tell play
When a player can read another player´s body language or facial expressions in order to guess Hole cards.
Third street
The first round of betting in a seven card stud game. All players have 3 cards.
Three flush
Three cards that are of the same suit, but requires two or more cards to complete a flush.
Three of a kind
A hand with three cards of the same rank.
Three wise men
Three kings in one hand. Also a Three of a Kind.
Throwing a party
Where amateur or loose players are making substantial contributions to the pot.
Tight
A player who only plays strong hands or with fewer hands than usual. A conservative player.
Tilt
All players can go tilt. Irrational players often lose by tilting.
To go
The amount needed to enter the pot.
Tournament
Competition where the game has many rules and for a set duration of time.
Trepasso
A starting hand of Ace and Jack, in holdem games.
Trips
A nickname for Three of a Kind.
True odds
Actual odds of something happening, in consideration of the casino´s edge.
Turn
When playing flop games, this is the fourth street card.
Two Flush
Two cards of the same suit, but missing three or more to get a flush.
Two pair
A kicker with two pairs
