Rabbit hunt

When losing opponents request that the dealer turn over all the cards once the hand is finished. Rabbit hunting is not allowed in most games.

Rags

Cards that are of no use and will not improve your hand.

Rainbow

Reduces the chance of a flush as all cards have different suits.

Raise

Raising the bet amount higher to the previous bet. This forces the original bettor to either raise or fold.

Rake

Fee charged to the players for the benefit of playing in a poker room.

Rank

The number or letter on the card. Ace is the highest and 2 is the lowest.

Rated

Highly skilled players.

River

The last card dealt in a hand.

Rock

A player who folds often. These players are often bullied to abandon the game and the pot.

Rounder.

A professional or semi professional player who earns their income from games.

Royal Flush

A hand that consists of an identical suite of the AKQJT. The highest possible flush
