Call
A call is a match for previous bets or raises. The betting rounds will close once all remaining players still in the game have bet an equal amount.
Call bet
Any bet that is made verbally.
Caribbean Stud Poker
This is a poker game where players with 5 cards compete against the casino.
Carousel
This is a row or bank of multiple video poker machines that are linked to one progressive jackpot.
Cash Back
Some casinos offer a cash back or rebate incentives to players who belong to a slots club. Comps are based on the amount of money they wager.
Cash Out Button
A button found on video poker machines that cashes out the players remaining money. Sometimes, they are printed tickets that can be exchanged for cash at the cashier cage.
Change Person or Slot Attendant
A casino employee that monitors the video poker and slots area, refilling machines, making change for players and assisting with problems.
Check
If no poker players have opened a round of betting, then the other players may want to check by not wagering any bets.
Coin In
The sum total amount of money that a player wagered through a video poker machine in a session. This figure is used for cash backs and other promotional incentives for slot club comps.
Complete Hand / Set Hand
A hand that is already the best it can be. In this instance, the player will not draw any new cards.
Comps
Incentives that are given to players that reach certain playing levels in slot clubs. These exciting rewards can be free meals, cash back, free rooms, free air fare and much more.
Copy
A version of poker called Pai Gow Poker, where a player and banker have the same two or five card hand. However, in Push, the banker wins in this instance.
Cycle.
The average number of hands that is required for a machine to offer a jackpot. Jackpots are often won when the royal flush is won and this can happen at about 40,000 hands
