Dog Playing Poker Joke
A man walks into the casino one day and decides he will go to the poker and video poker area and try his luck there.
On walking in he notices a table at the far end with a game of poker in progress. Sitting at the table among all the other players is a dog.
The man can’t quite believe it so strolls over to the table to take a closer look. Sure enough, he sees a small pile of chips in front of the dog.
The next hand is dealt out and the dog checks his hand of cards and acts in turn along with the human players, calling or raising, discarding or sitting on his hand.
What fascinates the man more than anything is that all the other players at the table don’t seem to notice the fact that there’s a dog playing with them. They treat him just as if was another ordinary player.
A few more rounds go on and the man can’t hold his curiosity in any more so he waits for a break between hands. He then leans down to one of the players and asks:
“I can’t believe you guys haven’t noticed that there’s a dog playing poker at this table! He must be the smartest dog in the world!”
The player glances up at the dog and then back at the man and says:
“Oh, we have noticed, and he isn’t that smart. Every time he gets a good hand he wags his tail!”
